Derive the Layout

Reference the master layout into your drivetrain component.

  • Make a 'Drivetrain' component, origin reference first.
  • Use Derive (or Project) to pull in the layout sketches.
  • Model the tubes off those references — they update with the layout.

Tube Specs

Walls
  • 2x1 tube: 1/8 in walls for strength
  • 2x2 tube: 1/16 in walls
  • Tubify each profile
Cleanliness
  • Material: Aluminum 6061
  • Name sketches, group features
  • Build the bellypan with patterned holes
