2x1 aluminum tube is the FRC default.

  • Drivetrains, arms, frames — mostly tube
  • Real wall is 0.0625 in (1/16)

Make A Block, Then Convert It

Model a simple solid, then turn it into a tube.

  • Sketch a 2x1 rectangle and extrude it to length (a solid block)
  • Solid › Create › AltSkripts › Tube Convert
  • Tubecshells it and punches the hole pattern
  • Name it by size: 10x2x1 (length × cross-section)
