Model and assemble a single-stage gearbox — layout sketch, motor plate, shafts and spacers, then assemble it from FRC-COTS.

Single-Stage Gearbox
Build a one-reduction gearbox from layout to assembly.
- Start with a layout sketch: 60T and 12T pitch circles, tangent.
- Build the motor plate around them.
- Then assemble shafts, gears, bearings, and the motor.

The Motor Plate
Design the plate that holds everything.
- Bearing hole 1.125 in; motor boss hole 1.25 in.
- Four bolt holes — use a center rectangle to dimension them fast.
- Mirror the outline, then extrude the plates to 0.25 in.

Shafts & Spacers
Use the AltSkripts tools for the round parts.
- Make spacers and the output shaft with AltSkripts (Shaft Endings).
- Insert bearings, gears, and the motor from FRC-COTS.
- Bolt the stack together with Rigid Joints.
