Flat Intake

Model a flat game-piece intake: two compliant wheels, belt reduction, tube-plug mounts.

  • Live-axle: the motor spins the shaft, the wheels ride the shaft.
  • Bottom tube 1x1, top tube 2x1; 2 in compliant wheels.
  • Tube plugs connect tubes without gussets.

Geometry
  • Wheels 2 in; bearing offset 1/16 in
  • Shaft start offset 9/32 in
  • Motor bolt circle 2 in (8 holes, use 3)

  • 2x1 tube plugs (1/16 in sleeve)
  • Hex bearings, hex spacers (1 in, 1/2 in)
  • 2 in compliant wheels, shaft-end screws

Build It

Layout sketch, tubes, belt, then assemble.

  • Tubify the tube profiles; use To-Object extrudes for parametric width.
  • Belt reduction via AltSkripts Belt Generator; shaft via Shaft Endings.
  • Mirror the second side.
