Flipped Gearbox
Model a flipped gearbox: the output shaft points opposite the input motors.
- Two motors drive a common output through two stages.
- Flipping packs it tighter against the frame.
- It slides along its tube to tension chain.

Layout
- Only essentials: gear PDs + motor ODs
- Two bolts per motor, perpendicular to the centerline
- Bottom mounting SLOTS, not holes, to slide
Build
- Shafts via AltSkripts Shaft Endings
- One 1/2 in spacer beats two 1/4 in
- Washers both sides on slotted fasteners
Key idea
Slots, not holes — that's what lets it tension.
Translate the whole gearbox to take up slack.
